I love this spot. Great for walks along the sea wall. The Thames estuary is literally 200M away, where you can view the docks in the distance, watch the ships go by and take in the surprising variety of wildlife (not sure why, but I wasn’t expecting the bank of the Thames to be this nice!). If you’re lucky you can spot seals!l too!

A 10 min walk or cycle down to the Coal House Fort recommended, where there is a cafe during the day or it’s gorgeous to site beside the lagoon/moat on a summer’s evening.

Migrating birds fly overhead most mornings/evenings to and from a splash beside the campsite, which is quite a sight (And sound, if it’s geese!)

BBQ’s, Campfires and dramatic skies mean that I’ve been back several times this summer in my RV and would thoroughly recommend it.
