Testimonials and reviews for Thamesview Camping. The family campsite that cares about your stay. Excellent facilities and service...

We had a fantastic time thank you very much. Everybody was very complimentary about the campsite it was absolutely perfect for what we wanted. There is plenty of room for the kids to have a run out and nice spacious pitches  for the tents, the fire pits were really great too.

We had a nice walk along the river and everybody really enjoyed themselves.

Thanks again for your hospitality and hope to see you again sometime.

So far the best campsite we have been in the UK. It exceeded our expectation in every way. Facilities are new and environmentally friendly. Even though it is an open field, you have privacy as pitches far away from one another and the noise does not carry. Also it is near nice hiking routes and several attractions.

Exceeded our expectation

Brilliant campsite with fantastic views of the Thames with glorious sun rise and Sun sets. Fantastic walk, close proximity to Coal House Fort and local pub plus access to shops, takeaways etc if required. The fire pit and bench were a great idea, plus complimentary firewood a nice touch. Facilities were brilliant, clean and handy on suite toilet.

Overall brilliant stay, really friendly staff and fellow campers. Hope to see you again soon

April 2021 – We booked two nights very last minute here in our camper and was not disappointed. On the drive in, there is a well stocked East of England coop to pick up provisions. The site is well sign posted at the entrance and communication with the site staff was quick and informative. We loved the site, which is located right next to the River Thames. It is super Eco and each circular pitch had a bench and fire pit for your personal use or share if you like your neighbours! You have your very own Eco loo situated close to your pitch and allocated shower times. The surrounding area is pretty and very green. There are lots of public footpaths to follow and Cole House Fort (check Fort opening times if visiting) is a few minutes walk along the sea wall. On the grounds outside of the fort, you will find a park, crabbing lake, a great hill to roll down and a lovely cafe/tea room. Great little find. Enjoy.

Great to be amongst the first weekenders at the site. Friendly welcome, enormous pitches, allocated eco loo, hot showers, wood for that all important fire for chilly May evenings. Direct access to the seawall walks is wonderful, as is the field of shire horses next door. Happy kids, happy adults, happy dog. Aiming to come back!
